Traveling to Baltimore
Baltimore’s primary airport is Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI), located approximately 10 miles from the conference hotel. BWI airport, the 24th largest in the U.S., is served by all major airlines as well as by discount airlines such as Southwest. The hotel is also served by AMTRAK and Baltimore’s Penn Station is located only 2 miles from the hotel.
Traveling to the Hilton Baltimore Hotel
For those flying into BWI, there are three primary means of getting from the airport to the hotel:
- Super Shuttle service ($13 one way)
- Taxi ($25 one way)
- Baltimore’s Light Rail ($1.60 one way; ride time is 20 minutes)
The Light Rail stop (Convention Center) is only one block from the Hilton.
Attendees coming from the Washington, DC area can take the MARC Train (Mon-Fri only) ($7 one way) from DC’s Union Station to Baltimore’s Camden Yards Station and walk to the hotel in 2–3 minutes. Those driving from DC can take I-95 North or the BWI Parkway. The self-parking rate at the Hilton is $28 per day for commuters or overnight guests.
